Express yourself with a fragrance!
The sandal tree, botanically known as Santalum Album, belongs to the family Santalaceae. As the tree grows, the essential oil develops in the roots and heartwood, which requires at least 15 to 20 years. Full maturity is reached after 60 to 80 years. The sandalwood tree is never felled, but uprooted in the rainy season, when the roots are richer in the precious essential oil. The best quality oil comes from the Indian province of Mysore followed by Tamil Nadu. Today, due to over-harvesting, the Mysore forests are virtually depleted and the remaining trees too immature to produce quality Sandalwood or Sandalwood oil.
Our Warm Sandalwood perfume oil is a sophisticated blend of Sandalwood, Musk, Amber, and Patchouli. It is an awesome unisex scent, favored by men and women alike.
For a lasting fragrance, apply just a touch of perfume oil to pulse points (at neck, inside of wrists, inside of elbows, behind ears and behind knees) once or twice a day, as desired. Pulse points give off more body heat as this is where blood vessels are closest to the skin, therefore continually warming and releasing your fragrance.
