Our Defense Synergy Blend is made from essential oils with antiviral, antibacterial & antiseptic properties which are known to complement each other and work together as an effective, non-toxic natural disinfectant to combat microbial and viral infections.  
Application: Essential oils contain active constituents such as phenolic compounds, terpenoids, alkaloids, phenyl propanoids, etc., which are responsible for their biological properties such as antiviral, antibacterial, antimicrobial, antioxidant activity. Essential oils and their chemical constituents have been reported of targeting several potential bimolecular pathways in different viruses including coronaviruses and it is believed that they could produce the same against COVID-19. 

To disinfect the air in your surroundings, during cold and flu season, fill an essential oil diffuser with water to the recommended level, and add 5-10 drops of Defense Synergy Blend. Start the diffuser and let the essential oil blend clean the air of contaminants. Use multiple essential oil diffusers placed strategically throughout, to potentially cover all your living space, and prevent illness.            

Diluted, with a carrier oil, the Defense Synergy Blend can be used to successfully prevent the appearance of oral herpes lesions. For this purpose, fill a separate 1/3oz amber (preferably roll-on) bottle with 15 drops of Defense Synergy Blend and a carrier oil. Cap it well and shake it, so the essential oil blend and carrier oil mix. Put a couple of dabs where you feel the tingling sensation on/near your nose or lips. To prevent the eruption of the herpes lesions, start using the diluted Defense Synergy Blend at the first sign of any tingling sensation. For carrier oil use a light oil like fractionated coconut oil (personal preference since it is odorless and has an indefinite shelf life), grapeseed oil, hazelnut oil, etc.  

To help with inflamed gums and or toothache, fill an 8oz amber bottle with 3ml Defense Synergy Blend and distilled water. Rinse 3 times per day, swashing around the mixture your mouth vigorously. Shake well the the whole mixture before each use, so the essential oil blend disperses in the distilled water. 
Warning: Not for internal consumption. Do not use the undiluted Defence Synergy Blend on your skin or your mucous membranes. Always perform a patch test before application. May cause skin irritation. Ask your physician if pregnant or nursing. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Ingredients (INCI): Cinnamomum zeylanicum leaf, Eugenia caryophyllata, Eucalyptus globulus, Citrus limon, Rosemarinus officinalis & Cinnamosma fragrans essential oils

Cinnamon Leaf essential oil is said to have strong antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. Research carried out by scientists published in 2017 (Microbiologyopen. 2017 Aug; 6(4): e00459), shows that Cinnamomum Zeylanicum and Eucalyptus globulus EOs have been reported to have antiviral activity, and significantly reduced viral units for influenza H1N1 and oral herpes simplex HSV1.

Clove Bud essential oil has been traditionally used for its antiseptic, analgesic and anti-fungal attributes. Research carried out by scientists published in 2012 (Braz J Microbiol. 2012 Oct-Dec; 43(4): 1255–1260) found that clove bud essential oil has antibacterial, antifungal, insecticidal and antioxidant properties. It is well know that both the eugenol and phenolic compounds found in clove essential oil can inhibit a great number of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria as well as different types of yeast.

Eucalyptus essential oil is known for its strong analgesic, antiviral, antiseptic, anti-rheumatic and decongestant properties. In a research carried out by scientists published in 2020 (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.micpath.2020.104620), studies determine marked immunomodulatory properties of both eucalyptus oil and its vigorous ingredient, i.e. eucalyptol. Taken together, data from clinical and preclinical trials indicated remarkable anti-COVID-19 potential in eucalyptus oil and its active components. The same research shows that vapors of EOs obtained from Eucalyptus globulus, and their isolated compounds, i.e. eugenol showed rapid anti-influenza virus (IFV) actions.

Lemon essential oil has been used for its strong antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antirheumatic and antiseptic properties to improve different conditions like easing painful cold sores and herpes. Research done by scientists published in 2020 (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.micpath.2020.104620), found that lemon oil displayed significant ACE2 inhibitory effects in epithelial cell, with active constituents against SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Rosemary essential oil has been traditionally used for its strong antiseptic, antioxidant, antimycobacterial and antimicrobial properties. Research carried out by scientists published in 2020 (J Adv Pharm Technol Res. 2020 Jan-Mar; 11(1): 25–29.), found that rosemary essential oil shows strong antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. 

Saro essential oil is known as an immune system builder, with anti-microbial, anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. Due to its germ-killing ability saro essential oil is excellent for clearing nasal and sinus congestion and can be used in steam inhalations for colds, flus and bronchial conditions. On the basis of the research done by scientists published in 2010 (DOI: 10.1021/bk-2009-1021.ch026), Saro essential oil may prove to be a useful antibacterial or antifongic agent.
