Allspice Essential Oil

Our Allspice Essential Oil is 100% pure, undiluted, premium grade organic essential oil. The all natural Allspice herbal essential oil is distilled from the berries of the Pimento tree. The allspice berry is known under different names like pimento berry, Jamaican pepper, and Myrtle pepper. Allspice has been used throughout the years in both medicine and cooking. In modern time pure all natural and organic allspice essential oil is known in between others for its analgesic, anesthetic, antioxidant, antiseptic, carminative, digestive, muscle relaxant, rubefacient, stimulant and tonic properties.

Safety Data: Eugenol, the main component in Allspice essential oil, is known to irritate the skin and mucous membranes. Therefore Allspice essential oil should be used with care, in low concentration. Avoid while pregnant. 

Allspice is indigenous to the West Indies and South America. It is cultivated in Jamaica, Cuba, and Central America. The imported unripened berries are distilled in Europe and America.    

Little known fact: Along with red pepper and vanilla, allspice is one of the three spices which originated in the New World.
